The Head of State highlighted the importance of cooperation in the field of artificial intelligence and digitalization.

The President made the statement at the Kazakhstan–Kenya Business Forum, as reported by Elordainfo.kz, citing the official website of Akorda.

According to him, Kenya is widely known as Africa's "Silicon Savannah."

"Kazakhstan has accumulated extensive experience in GovTech and FinTech. In this regard, we are ready to share our best solutions in e-government and modern banking infrastructure. We also seek to establish cooperation in the fields of artificial intelligence and space exploration. The memorandums signed today in IT and space technology will clearly pave the way for productive and long-term partnership between our countries," said the President of Kazakhstan.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev welcomed the partnership between the Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC) and the Nairobi International Financial Centre.

The Head of State invited Kenyan companies to actively leverage the opportunities offered by the AIFC and to expand their business in Central Asia and beyond.

In the President's view, Kazakhstan's tourism sector is currently developing rapidly, and it is advisable to promote "adventure" tourism in this context.

The Head of State noted that today's forum demonstrated the potential for cooperation between Kazakhstan and Kenya, and conveyed both sides' intention to strengthen economic ties.

William Ruto expressed confidence that Kenya and Kazakhstan, working together, can build a new economic bridge between Africa and Central Asia.

"I call upon the business leaders gathered here to move from dialogue to agreements, from networking to investment, to create new jobs and develop enterprises for the benefit of both peoples. Opening a direct air route between Astana and Nairobi holds great promise for advancing business integration. The ports of Mombasa and Lamu are always ready to serve Kazakhstani companies interested in the East African market. Today in Astana, an agreement was reached on building a logistics hub for goods from our country. I am delighted about this," said the President of Kenya.
