Karaganda University hosted an Open Day for parents of 11th-grade graduates. The event was held in two stages and allowed guests to become more familiar with the university’s educational programs and opportunities.
The first part of the event took place in the
university foyer, where each department presented its academic programs.
Parents were able to ознакомиться with areas of study, curricula, and additional
opportunities available to students, ask questions to faculty members, and
receive detailed консультации regarding their children’s future education.
In the second part of the event, leading
representatives of the university addressed the parents in the assembly hall.
Member of the Board and Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs G.A. Sivyakova spoke
about the key directions of the university’s development and new opportunities
for students. Secretary of the Admissions Committee A.Kh. Baimagambetova подробно explained the rules for registration and taking the
UNT, and also answered parents’ questions about the admission process.
Head of the Department of History of Kazakhstan and
General Education Disciplines Zh.K. Kapasheva delivered a presentation on the
topic: “The Whole World is a University: New Opportunities for Your Children.”
She emphasized that modern education provides students with access to
international programs, internships, and various platforms for developing
professional and personal skills.
According to the organizers, such events help parents gain a comprehensive understanding of how the educational process is organized and support their children in choosing their future path.
