DIGITAL VOLTAGE KARIU — IN THE TOP 5 HACKATHONS ON DIGITAL TWINS IN ENERGY

The KarIU Digital Voltage team, consisting of students from the TII and “Energy” departments — Dmitry Schmidt, Ruslan Mukhametgaliev, Andrey Pavlov, Vyacheslav Nosov, and Aidar Uteev — under the guidance of PhD, Associate Professor Valery Druzhinin and Head of the TII Department A.O. Chvanova, participated in the industry hackathon “Digital Twins in Energy,” which took place on April 2, 2026, at Tyumen Industrial University.

Participants were required to develop digital solutions to ensure reliable power supply for drilling rigs.

The KarIU team presented a digital twin project of an energy complex, which included system operation modeling, automated equipment selection, and visualization of results.

As a result of the hackathon, the Digital Voltage team entered the TOP 5 best teams and was also recognized in the category “For originality and thoroughness.”
