KARIU DEVELOPS EXPERTISE IN GREEN HYDROGEN AND POWER-TO-X TECHNOLOGIES

Karaganda Industrial University is participating in the international Training of Trainers (ToT) programme on renewable Power-to-X (PtX) technologies, held from 24 to 28 August at Atyrau University of Oil and Gas named after S. Utebayev.

The programme brings together 14 specialists from Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan. The training aims to develop professional, technical, and teaching competencies in green hydrogen and Power-to-X technologies.

Participants are studying green hydrogen production and application technologies, the economic aspects of PtX, infrastructure and market development, as well as sustainability, public policy, and certification. Theoretical sessions are complemented by practical activities, group work, presentations, and educational visits.

The knowledge gained will support the integration of modern hydrogen energy topics into educational programmes, the development of specialised teaching materials, and the sharing of experience with colleagues and students.

KarIU’s participation in the international training programme contributes to expanding scientific and educational cooperation and preparing qualified specialists for a sustainable, low-carbon energy future.
