Karaganda Industrial
University was among the 20 universities in Kazakhstan selected to participate
in the exhibition of projects of the national AI-Sana programme, held as part
of the international forum AI & Digital Bridge 2026.
Ahead of the forum, the Ministry of Science and Higher
Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan conducted a selection of the most
promising university projects in the field of artificial intelligence. As a
result, KarIU was given the opportunity to present three of its own
developments at one of the country’s largest technology platforms.
At the exhibition, the university presented:
🔹 KarIU
Smart Bots — the university’s multi-agent AI platform, bringing together
specialised intelligent assistants for students, applicants, and staff;
🔹 SolarAI
— an intelligent system for monitoring, forecasting, and optimising the use of
solar energy;
🔹 AI
Syllabus — a system for the automated generation of academic syllabi using
AI and RAG technologies.
KarIU was represented at the exhibition by PI-23 group
students Vyacheslav Nem, Evgeny Stepanov, and Maksim Odintsov, as well as Anнa
Nurmanbayeva, a master’s student of the AiU-26nm group. Over two days, the team
demonstrated how the projects work, explained their practical applications, and
answered questions from forum visitors.
On the first day, the AI-Sana exhibition was visited by
Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sayasat
Nurbek, Paul Kim, Member of the Council for the Development of Artificial
Intelligence under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Ni Li, Partner
at Alpha Intelligence Capital and Founding Managing Partner of Mariton
Partners, as well as Nariman Mukushev, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board
of Halyk Bank.
On the second day, the exhibition was visited by Kuanyshbek
Yessekeyev, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and
Dinara Shcheglova, Vice Minister of Science and Higher Education of the
Republic of Kazakhstan.
KarIU’s participation in the AI-Sana exhibition among the
20 selected universities in the country provided an opportunity to demonstrate
the results of the university’s practical work in the field of artificial
intelligence, present its own developments to the expert community, and
exchange experience with teams from leading universities in Kazakhstan.
