Today, an interactive
event titled “Digital Reputation” was held at the Karaganda Industrial
University as part of the republican project “Law and Order”, with the
participation of cyber police officers and KARIU compliance officer Ibragimov
S.S.
During the event,
representatives of the cyber police informed students about key aspects of safe
behavior in the digital environment, risks associated with online activity, and
emphasized the importance of complying with legal norms on the Internet. Special
attention was given to personal data protection, the development of responsible
digital behavior, and the prevention of online offenses.
The second part of
the event focused on students’ digital reputation. Participants discussed how
academic integrity affects personal and professional image and examined
practical aspects of checking academic work using anti-plagiarism systems. This
session was conducted in accordance with the joint plan of events by the public
organization “Zhanaru”.
The interactive
session contributed to improving students’ digital and legal literacy,
reminding them that Internet safety and responsible management of one’s digital
reputation are important responsibilities for everyone.
