Top Students Awarded Vacant Grants

At the Karaganda Industrial University, the results of the allocation of vacant educational grants, which became available as part of higher and postgraduate education following the winter examination session of the 2025–2026 academic year, have been announced.

The distribution of grants was carried out in accordance with current regulatory requirements and based on Order No. 144 dated March 20, 2026. These grants become available in cases of student withdrawal, transfer to other forms of study, or refusal of education under the state educational order, after which they are reallocated among students on a tuition-paying basis.

The competition for awarding vacant grants was conducted considering students’ academic performance, their grade point average (GPA), as well as the absence of academic debts and disciplinary violations. Priority is traditionally given to students who have demonstrated the best results in their studies following the examination session.

According to the approved list, the recipients of the vacant educational grants include 28 undergraduate students and 1 graduate student. For them, this means a transition from a tuition-paying form of study to state-funded education, which significantly reduces their financial burden and serves as recognition of their academic achievements.
