On February 18, a dialogue platform was held at Karaganda Industrial University with the participation of the leadership of the Youth Resource Center of Temirtau, representatives of the Department of History of Kazakhstan and Social Disciplines, and university students.
The event served as an open discussion platform aimed
at explaining the initiatives of the National Kurultai of Kazakhstan,
discussing current issues of state youth policy, and involving students in the
implementation of concrete projects at the regional level. The focus was on the
directives announced during the sessions of the National Kurultai and the
mechanisms for their practical implementation within educational and social
settings.
University students actively participated in the
discussion, raising issues related to employment for young specialists, support
for startup initiatives, the development of scientific potential, and creating
conditions for youth self-realization in the region. The role of the university
as a center for developing human capital, fostering innovation, and supporting
social initiatives was also highlighted.
Participants emphasized that the National Kurultai
serves as an important public institution facilitating dialogue between the
state and society, and that youth should not only be listeners but also active
participants in transformations. The dialogue platform allowed participants to
move from discussing strategic priorities to taking concrete steps — developing
joint projects, strengthening the university’s interaction with city
structures, and expanding opportunities for youth initiatives.
As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached
to continue cooperation, organize joint events, and establish a sustainable
feedback mechanism between students and the Youth Resource Center. Holding such
dialogue platforms contributes to fostering an active civic position,
strengthening partnerships between educational institutions and youth work
organizations, and implementing state policy in practice.
