On November 2, a new
season of the “Silver University” began at KarIU. The project brought together
Temirtau residents over the age of 50 who wish to gain new knowledge and master
modern technologies.
This season,
participants have been offered seven areas of study: computer and financial
literacy, the fundamentals of entrepreneurship, chess, fitness for women in
their golden years, the “Bridge of Generations” Parents’ Academy, and flamenco.
During the classes,
participants will learn to use smartphones, computers, and mobile applications
more confidently, explore online banking and safe online shopping, and discover
the possibilities of artificial intelligence.
The training is free
of charge and will continue until December 5. Upon completion of the course,
participants will receive personalized certificates.
The “Silver
University” has been operating at KarIU since 2020. There are no exams or
grades here — only useful knowledge, new acquaintances, communication, and
opportunities to discover one’s abilities.
We wish all
participants engaging classes, wonderful experiences, and exciting new
discoveries!
