On October 20, a dialogue platform dedicated to preventing drug abuse and dropper activities among young people was held at Karaganda Industrial University.
The meeting was attended by Denis Samodurov, a four-time champion of the Republic of Kazakhstan in kickboxing, and Senior Police Lieutenant Vadim Imanaliyev, an inspector of the local police service of the Public Security Police Department in Temirtau.
The students discussed the consequences of drug use and distribution, as well as the legal responsibility for involvement in such crimes. Special attention was paid to dropper activities — the transfer of bank cards, accounts, and personal data to third parties for conducting illegal financial transactions. Participants were informed about the dangers of “easy money” offers and the serious consequences that involvement in fraudulent schemes can lead to.
Denis Samodurov spoke about the impact of sports on young people’s lives. Regular training strengthens character, develops discipline, helps set goals, and encourages a healthy lifestyle.
As part of the event, the film Not Bookmarks was also screened. The film demonstrated the dangers posed by drugs and the consequences that even one ill-considered step can lead to.
