On October 12, the
“Freshman — 2026” Eco-Sports Festival was held at Karaganda Industrial
University. The event brought together first-year students, serving not only as
a sporting competition but also as a platform for team interaction.
The Eco-Sports
Festival was held as part of the nationwide environmental initiative “Taza
Qazaqstan.” Participants demonstrated agility, endurance, mutual support, and a
responsible attitude towards the environment.
One of the key parts
of the programme was the “Race of Honesty,” organized within the framework of
the programme of the “Zhanaru” Republican Public Association and the “Law and
Order” concept. It reminded students of the importance of honesty, fairness,
compliance with the law, and personal responsibility.
The Eco-Sports
Festival helped freshmen get to know one another better, feel part of the
university community, and spend the day actively and productively.
At the end of the
event, participants received informational materials dedicated to environmental
awareness, the principles of integrity, and lawful conduct.
