School graduates who
have achieved high results on the Unified National Testing (UNT) are eligible
to apply for the Nariman Kuanyshgaliyevich Ishmukhamedov Named Grant at
Karaganda Industrial University (KarIU).
The program is aimed
at supporting talented students, expanding access to higher education,
improving academic performance, and training highly qualified specialists for
the region’s priority industries.
Applicants for
full-time study with a UNT score of 75 points or higher, as well as current
students with a GPA of at least 3.0, are eligible to participate in the
competition. Particular consideration is given to candidates from Temirtau,
nearby settlements, and the Karaganda Region.
Priority for the
grant is given to applicants enrolling in educational programs in metallurgy,
automation, energy, and business economics.
The grant is not a
state educational grant. It is a form of non-governmental targeted educational
support funded by the Sponsor and includes a scholarship payment of 150,000
tenge.
