On July 4, 2026, the Republican Forum "Corporate
Management and Digital Transformation – 2026" was held in Kyzylorda at
Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University.
Representing Karaganda Industrial
University, Mayra Khomarovna Abenova, Head of the Internal Audit Service, and
Rymgul Kuatkyzy Zhaslan, Corporate Secretary, took part in the forum.
The forum brought together
representatives of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic
of Kazakhstan, university leaders, members of boards of directors, corporate
secretaries, heads of internal audit services, compliance officers, and experts
in corporate governance, digital transformation, and risk management.
The opening remarks were delivered
by Nauryzbay Baikadamov, Chairman of the Management Board – Rector of Korkyt
Ata Kyzylorda University, representatives of the Ministry of Science and Higher
Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and Zhardem Kurmangaziyev, Executive
Director of the Central Asian Association of Corporate Secretaries.
During the plenary session, leading
national experts presented reports on current trends in corporate governance
and digital transformation. The speakers included Erlan Abil, Chairman of the
Board of Directors of Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University; Zhardem Kurmangaziyev,
Executive Director of the Central Asian Association of Corporate Secretaries;
Dauren Akshalov, Advisor to the Chairman of the Agency of the Republic of
Kazakhstan for Atomic Energy; Anar Tuleubayeva, Deputy Chair of the Association
for the Development of Artificial Intelligence in Kazakhstan; Marzhan Sadykova,
Business Trainer at ICFM UK Kazakhstan; Aziza Shuzheyeva, Chairwoman of the
Management Board of TechnoWomen; Arna Kusainova, Labour Relations Expert;
Nurseit Torgyn, ESG and Risk Management Expert; and other distinguished
specialists.
Particular attention was given to
the development of corporate governance in higher education institutions, the
implementation of artificial intelligence and digital technologies, the
improvement of internal audit systems, risk management and compliance practices,
as well as enhancing the transparency and effectiveness of university
governance. The forum served as an important platform for exchanging best
practices, fostering professional dialogue, and strengthening cooperation among
Kazakhstan's higher education institutions.
The participation of Karaganda
Industrial University representatives in such events contributes to the
implementation of modern management approaches, the development of a strong
corporate culture, and the continuous improvement of the University's governance
system.
