On March 17, as part of the celebration of Shanyrak Day — a day aimed at promoting family values, strengthening the institution of the family, and preserving generational continuity — Karaganda Industrial University hosted a round table titled “From Generation to Generation: Family as the Foundation of Values.”
The event was dedicated to issues of moral education of youth, the role
of the family in shaping spiritual and cultural values, as well as the
importance of traditions and family foundations in modern society. Participants
discussed the significance of passing life experience and values from older
generations to younger ones, maintaining respect for parents and elders, and
strengthening family ties as the basis of a harmonious and stable society.
During the round table, special attention was paid to the continuity of
generations and the role of the family as the most important social institution
shaping personality, worldview, and moral guidelines of young people.
Participants noted that it is within the family that the foundations of
responsibility, mutual respect, support, and patriotism are formed.
The speaker of the event was Valentina Pavlik, coordinator of the
Temirtau youth wing “Assembly Zhastary,” operating under the Assembly of the
People of Kazakhstan. In her speech, she emphasized the importance of
preserving national traditions, strengthening family values, and encouraging
active youth participation in public life.
The round table became a platform for open dialogue and exchange of views on the upbringing of the younger generation. Such events contribute to fostering respect for family traditions among young people, strengthening intergenerational understanding, and realizing that the family is the foundation of spiritual values, unity, and sustainable development of society. ✨
