Karaganda Industrial
University announces the next enrollment of participants in the Silver
University programme — a project created in the spirit of the concept of lifelong
learning.
The programme has
been operating at KarIU since 2020 and is designed for residents aged 50 and
over who wish to remain active, keep up with modern trends, and maintain
their energy and enthusiasm!
Despite our wealth of
life experience, it is important for each of us to keep pace with the times by
mastering digital technologies, artificial intelligence, financial literacy,
and new forms of communication and self-development. This is exactly why the
Silver University was created!
Classes begin: 2 November 2026.

Tuition is free!
Location: Karaganda Industrial University,
Temirtau.
This academic season,
participants can choose from seven courses:
1.
Computer Literacy – learning to use computers, the Internet, and mobile applications.
2.
Financial Literacy – how to manage a personal budget, use online banking, and make
purchases safely.
3.
Fundamentals of Entrepreneurship – how to turn an idea into your own business.
4.
Chess – an
enjoyable way to spend time while developing intellectual skills.
5.
Fitness for Ladies in Their Golden Years – health, movement, and a positive mood!
6.
Parents’ Academy “Bridge of Generations”
7.
New this enrollment: Flamenco Dancing (the number of places in the group is
limited).
All classes are
conducted by university instructors in a friendly and comfortable atmosphere.
We create a space for
communication, friendship, and inspiration!
We invite all
interested residents of Temirtau to join the Silver University and discover new
opportunities together!
