📅 On April 29, 2026, in Temirtau, the dialogue platform “The Power of
Choice: Sport Against Addictions” was held, bringing together young people,
representatives of law enforcement agencies, and professional sports figures.
The event took place in the Evolution hall and became an important platform for
an open and honest discussion about the problem of addictions and the role of
personal choice in every person’s life.
🔹 The dialogue participants included:
— Police Major, Senior Operative Officer for Counter-Narcotics, Galina
Lomaikina;
— 4-time Champion of the Republic of Kazakhstan in kickboxing, coach Denis
Samodurov;
— students of the Karaganda Industrial University.
Participants
discussed the real risks associated with drug addiction, ways to prevent it,
and the importance of legal awareness among young people. Special attention was
given to forming a strong anti-drug position and responsibility for one’s own
choices.
💬 The open discussion format received a strong response — students
actively asked questions, shared their opinions, and received competent answers
from invited experts.
🥊 The practical part of the event included a kickboxing master class by
Denis Samodurov, who clearly demonstrated that sport is not only physical
strength, but also discipline, character, and self-confidence.
📘 All participants were provided with informational brochures “Dialogue
Against Drugs”.
Such meetings play an
important role in shaping healthy values, strengthening an active lifestyle,
and supporting young people in making conscious choices.
