On October 15, a
round table entitled “Harmony Is the Foundation of Peace and Tranquility” was
held at the House of Friendship of the Municipal State-Owned Public Enterprise
“President’s Historical and Cultural Center” to mark the Day of Spiritual
Harmony.
The event brought
together 50 students of Karaganda Industrial University enrolled in the
“Serpin” programme. Together with specialists from the Temirtau City Center for
the Study and Analysis of Interethnic Relations Issues, representatives of
public associations and ethnocultural centers, they discussed ways to
strengthen interethnic harmony, preserve social unity, and promote mutual
respect.
Special attention was
paid to the role of young people in maintaining peace and stability in society.
The meeting became an open platform for dialogue and once again reminded
participants that harmony begins with respect, the ability to listen to one
another, and shared responsibility for the country’s future.
