What will the Karaganda Industrial University look like in the coming years? The answer to this question was largely shaped by the decisions made at the regular meeting of the Board of Directors of the Non-Profit Joint-Stock Company “Karaganda Industrial University,” held on July 3, 2026.
During the meeting, the participants reviewed the University’s performance results for 2025, assessed the implementation of key projects, and identified the strategic directions for further development. The main focus was placed on digital transformation, the implementation of artificial intelligence technologies, improving management efficiency, advancing scientific research, and strengthening cooperation with industrial partners.
One of the key items on the agenda was the approval of the Annual Report for 2025. The Board of Directors also reviewed the achievement of the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) by the members of the Management Board, as well as the performance of the University’s governing bodies and internal services.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors noted that Karaganda Industrial University continues to strengthen its position as a modern engineering university, enhance its scientific potential, and expand cooperation with industrial enterprises. According to the Chairman, special attention should now be paid to digital transformation and the implementation of artificial intelligence technologies, which are becoming the key drivers of higher education development.
The Chairman of the Management Board – Rector of the University presented the results of the University’s activities for 2025. Among the key achievements were the successful implementation of the Development Program, strong admission campaign results, modernization of the scientific infrastructure, expansion of international cooperation, and the introduction of modern digital solutions into the educational process.
Following the meeting, the Board of Directors gave a positive assessment of the performance of the University’s governing bodies and staff, highlighting their contribution to improving the quality of education, advancing research activities, and strengthening the status of Karaganda Industrial University as one of Kazakhstan’s leading engineering universities.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Board of Directors expressed its gratitude to the University’s faculty members, staff, students, and partners for their professionalism, responsibility, and joint efforts, thanks to which Karaganda Industrial University continues to confidently implement its sustainable development strategy.
