On April 10, the premiere of the student play “Echo of the Century” took
place in the assembly hall of Karaganda Industrial University. The production
was prepared by the university’s student theatre under the direction of
Bakhytzhan Yergaliyev, an actor of the Saken Seifullin Theatre.
The university’s student theatre is actively developing and fulfills an
important mission — providing students with the opportunity to раскрыть their creative abilities, try themselves in acting,
and engage with the world of stage art. For many participants, this is not only
a new experience but also a path to self-expression, building confidence, and
developing artistic thinking.
The play “Echo of the Century” raises deep philosophical and social
issues relevant to modern society. For a person with a sensitive soul, the
value of every moment in life is truly immeasurable. However, in the context of
rapid civilizational development, technological progress, and the
transformation of life priorities, it becomes increasingly difficult to pause,
look within oneself, and understand another person, to share their feelings,
dreams, and experiences.

such times, works of art that can awaken consciousness, evoke deep emotions,
and inspire a rethinking of life priorities gain special significance. In this
context, theatre serves as a powerful tool for dialogue with the audience.
The production “Echo of the Century” is based on the works of several
authors united by a common idea — the search for meaning, spiritual depth, and
human sincerity. Through stage imagery, dialogues, and the expressive
performance of the actors, the play conveys the complexity of the human inner
world and reflects the contradictions of modernity.
The premiere was held in a warm and inspiring atmosphere, leaving a
strong impression on the audience and providing an opportunity to reflect on
eternal values, the role of art, and the significance of the human soul in a
