Students of Karaganda
Industrial University took part in HackAlem AI, a large-scale hackathon
dedicated to artificial intelligence. KarIU was represented by 15 second-,
third-, and fourth-year students.
A total of 2435
participants took part in the hackathon.
As part of the
competition, participants developed prototype solutions to real-world business
challenges. KarIU students worked on a range of cases, including an AI-powered
career coach, intelligent supplier selection, product recommendations,
developer and business solution search, as well as transaction network analysis
to identify financial connections.
Participation in
HackAlem AI gave KarIU students an opportunity to put their artificial
intelligence knowledge into practice, gain hands-on experience in addressing
real-world business challenges, and strengthen their teamwork and
problem-solving skills while working under time constraints.
