A team of KarIU students (Vyacheslav Nem, Maksim Odintsov, and Evgeniy Stepanov) became finalists of the international student competition “Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Sustainable Development” held within the GDCAU project, advancing through a selection of 28 teams from 5 Central Asian countries.
In the final, which took place on April 14 in Almaty at META University, the team presented their project SolarAI — an intelligent solution for optimizing the use of solar energy. The project is aimed at improving the efficiency of energy generation and consumption through data analysis and the application of artificial intelligence algorithms.
As a result of the competition, the KarIU team was awarded an honorable third place. Congratulations to the team on this achievement, and we wish them continued success!
