COLLEGE STUDENTS VISIT KARIU

On February 15, an Open Day for future college graduates of the city of Temirtau was held at Karaganda Industrial University. The meeting was attended by students of the Technical and Economic College, Temirtau Higher Polytechnic College, Temirtau Technical College, and Temirtau Vocational and Technical College.

The purpose of the annual event was to introduce prospective applicants to the university’s educational programs, the specifics of the academic process, admission requirements, and opportunities to continue their studies through shortened educational pathways. University representatives spoke about in-demand fields of study, employment prospects, academic mobility, research activities, and student life.

During the meeting, the guests received detailed information about the admission rules, asked their questions, and communicated with the university’s faculty members and students.

At the end of the event, a campus tour was organized for the participants: the students visited classrooms, specialized laboratories, and the library, and became familiar with the university’s material and technical facilities as well as the learning conditions. The Open Day became an important step in the professional self-determination of future college graduates and helped them gain a closer understanding of the educational opportunities at KarIU.
