As part of the celebration
of March 20 — National Sports Day (Ұлттық спорт күні), a university-wide
tournament in national sports among faculties was held at Karaganda Industrial
University.
Students took part in
competitions in arkan tartys, togyz kumalak, and kazakh kuresi. The event
became a vivid demonstration of respect for national traditions, as well as a
platform for developing strength, endurance, and team spirit.
According to the results of
the competition:

In the kazakh kuresi
category, students presented demonstration performances, showcasing strength,
technique, and respect for national sporting traditions.
Additionally, within the
framework of the program of the RPA “Zhanaru,” competitions in table tennis and
armwrestling were organized. The initiative was aimed not only at promoting a
healthy lifestyle, but also at increasing legal awareness among youth, fostering
anti-corruption consciousness, and strengthening the principles of honesty and
responsibility.
The event program
harmoniously combined sports competitions and educational elements. During
breaks between the competitions, interactive discussions were held on issues of
legality, personal responsibility, and adherence to ethical standards.

It should be noted that the

Holding such events
contributes not only to the development of students’ physical activity, but
also to the formation of sustainable life values among young people, as well as
respect for the law and national heritage.
