KarIU Presented Modern Harvard Business Impact Solutions for Developing Management Competencies

On June 17, Karaganda Industrial University hosted a meeting between the university’s leadership and staff and representatives of KAZMEDIA HOLDING, the official partner of Harvard Business Publishing for the promotion of Harvard ManageMentor corporate learning courses and the Harvard Business Publishing Collection platform.

During the event, solutions aimed at developing leadership and management competencies in higher education institutions were presented. The presentation was delivered by Bakytzhan Ospanali, Business Development Director, and Nurdaulet Sharen, Director of Corporate Learning Products.

Participants were introduced to the capabilities of the Harvard Business Impact digital learning platform, designed to develop modern management, leadership, strategic thinking, and organizational effectiveness skills. Particular attention was given to the Harvard ManageMentor and HBR Spark programs, which enable continuous professional development for managers, faculty members, and administrative staff without interrupting their core responsibilities.

Company representatives noted that the platform includes 42 practice-oriented courses covering leadership, team management, strategic planning, change management, project management, digital intelligence, and other relevant areas. In addition, the HBR Spark intelligent assistant was presented, leveraging Harvard’s knowledge base and expert content to provide personalized support for learners.

During the discussion, participants addressed issues related to the development of management culture within universities, workforce preparation in the context of digital transformation, enhancing the international competitiveness of higher education institutions, and implementing modern corporate learning tools. The attendees exchanged views on the prospects of applying the presented solutions to improve the effectiveness of the university’s educational and managerial activities.

Such meetings contribute to familiarizing faculty members and university administrators with global best practices in leadership, management, and human capital development, while also expanding opportunities for integrating modern educational technologies into the university’s operations.
