On June 17,
Karaganda Industrial University hosted a meeting between the university’s
leadership and staff and representatives of KAZMEDIA HOLDING, the official
partner of Harvard Business Publishing for the promotion of Harvard
ManageMentor corporate learning courses and the Harvard Business Publishing
Collection platform.
During the event,
solutions aimed at developing leadership and management competencies in higher
education institutions were presented. The presentation was delivered by
Bakytzhan Ospanali, Business Development Director, and Nurdaulet Sharen,
Director of Corporate Learning Products.
Participants were
introduced to the capabilities of the Harvard Business Impact digital learning
platform, designed to develop modern management, leadership, strategic
thinking, and organizational effectiveness skills. Particular attention was
given to the Harvard ManageMentor and HBR Spark programs, which enable
continuous professional development for managers, faculty members, and
administrative staff without interrupting their core responsibilities.
Company
representatives noted that the platform includes 42 practice-oriented courses
covering leadership, team management, strategic planning, change management,
project management, digital intelligence, and other relevant areas. In
addition, the HBR Spark intelligent assistant was presented, leveraging
Harvard’s knowledge base and expert content to provide personalized support for
learners.
During the
discussion, participants addressed issues related to the development of
management culture within universities, workforce preparation in the context of
digital transformation, enhancing the international competitiveness of higher
education institutions, and implementing modern corporate learning tools. The
attendees exchanged views on the prospects of applying the presented solutions
to improve the effectiveness of the university’s educational and managerial
activities.
Such meetings
contribute to familiarizing faculty members and university administrators with
global best practices in leadership, management, and human capital development,
while also expanding opportunities for integrating modern educational
technologies into the university’s operations.
