On September 30, Karaganda Industrial University
hosted a solemn ceremony honoring the university’s labor veterans, dedicated to
October 1 — the Day of Higher Education Workers of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
By good tradition, the event was organized by the
university administration with the support of the primary trade union
organization of the teaching staff and employees of KarIU.
The special atmosphere of the celebration was created
by words of gratitude and appreciation to the labor veterans — people who, for
many years, through their professionalism, dedication to the university, and
rich life experience, have made and continue to make a significant contribution
to the development of KarIU and the higher education system.
A pleasant gift for the guests was a festive
mini-concert prepared by the university’s student self-government bodies. The
students’ creative performances gave the veterans sincere emotions, smiles, and
a warm atmosphere.
KarIU is history, traditions, and the people who shape
its present and future. We thank our veterans for their many years of dedicated
work, wisdom, and commitment to their native university!
