DIALOGUE ON SECURITY, VALUES, AND MEDIA LITERACY

On February 11, a meeting was held at Karaganda Industrial University between students and Kalkaman Nurlykhan Kalkamanuly, a member of the information and awareness group.

During his speech, the speaker addressed current issues of information security and media literacy, emphasizing the importance of critically evaluating information and the ability to identify fake materials and manipulative content on social media. Special attention was given to the prevention of extremism and terrorism, as well as the factors that lead young people to become involved in destructive movements.

Additionally, participants discussed the role of traditional values and culture in strengthening social cohesion and fostering a stable civic stance.

The meeting was held in an open dialogue format: students actively asked questions, shared opinions, and took part in discussions, making the conversation meaningful and productive.
