Program Goal
Training qualified specialists with theoretical and practical knowledge of the basic technologies of rolling and drawing production used in metallurgy, with developed language competence and having in-depth IT skills in profession-al activities.
Program Uniqueness
The uniqueness of the educational program lies in the integration of classical engineering knowledge with modern digital and intelligent solutions, as well as in its close connection with the real sector of the regional economy. This ensures high demand for graduates and their readiness to meet the challenges of the industry of the future.
The educational program is aimed at training specialists for enterprises in the metallurgical and mechanical engineering industries of the Karaganda region and Kazakhstan as a whole. The training is based on a combination of applied and research approaches, providing a strong theoretical foundation and solid practical skills.
Students undergo industrial internships at the largest industrial enterprises in the region, where modern metal forming technologies are applied. The program is focused on developing comprehensive competencies—professional, economic, and IT—with particular emphasis on the implementation of digital and intelligent technologies in education, science, and industry.

The area of professional activity of the graduate – production and technology and organizational work on indus-trial enterprises; research work in the field of rolling and drawing productions.

Positions of heads: Chief technologist; Production manager; Associate director (director, vice president) for pro-duction; Master control (site, shop); Job foremaster; The Chief of production laboratory (on production control); Production manager: Shift supervisor; Head of the technical department; Shop manager (site); Shop manager of pilot production.
Positions of specialists: Dispatcher; Engineer; Lab technician; Production preparation Engineer; Production engi-neer (technologist); Laboratory assistant; Professional consultant; Associate director (reviewer, adviser).
Positions of the leading, scientific and technical workers, the general for the research, design, technology, project and prospecting organizations: Research associate; Junior researcher; Engineer, Laboratory assistant.
