Training competitive eco-analyst specialists for the mining and metallurgical industry, capable of ensuring clean, low- and zero-waste production using modern methods, implementing integrated solutions for raw material and waste recycling, working effectively in interdisciplinary teams, and continuously upgrading their qualifications throughout their professional careers.

The uniqueness of the educational program lies in the integration of environmental analytics, engineering solutions, and digital technologies aimed at enabling the transition of the mining and metallurgical industry toward sustainable development and waste-free production principles. The program prepares a new generation of specialists capable of comprehensively addressing challenges related to environmental safety, recycling of technogenic waste, and resource efficiency, based on a combination of fundamental knowledge in chemistry, ecology, and metallurgy, along with modern data analysis tools. Special emphasis is placed on the application of Big Data technologies, artificial intelligence, IoT, and digital modeling for predictive environmental monitoring and optimization of technological processes. An additional aspect of uniqueness is the focus on emerging and in-demand professions (eco-analyst, recycling technologist, specialist in technogenic waste management).

− ensuring environmental safety and sustainable development of mining and metallurgical
complex enterprises;
− organization and implementation of analytical control of environmental pollution;
− development and implementation of technologies for recycling and utilization of production
