The uniqueness of the Educational Program “Technology of Processing New Structural Materials” lies in its practical orientation, including industrial internships at major regional enterprises; the curriculum is designed not only on an applied basis but also on a research-oriented foundation within the scientific and pedagogical direction; research internships and scientific training are conducted at leading universities in the Republic of Kazakhstan and abroad; significant attention is given to experiments and research, with innovative concepts and products being developed during the preparation of the master’s thesis; the program also focuses on fostering and developing students’ creative thinking through practical assignments, press conferences, and presentations, which contributes to making optimal, effective, non-standard, and original decisions.

The professional field of activity of graduates of the educational program 7M07101/7M07104 “Technologies for Processing New Structural Materials” includes the field of science and technology related to the management and improvement of existing production facilities, as well as research and scientific-pedagogical activities.
Qualifications and Positions
The academic degree – the master of technical science according to the educational program 7M07101 "Technology of processing of new structural materials" is appropriated to the persons who mas-tered this educational program of a magistracy and defended the master dissertation.
Qualification requirements and positions are defined according to "The job evaluation catalog of positions of the heads, specialists and other employees" approved by the order of the Minister of Labour and Social Protection of the population of RK of 21.05.2012 on the basis of which the graduate has the right to work at the enterprises incorporating divisions on processing of powder and composition materials in the following positions:
Positions of heads: Chief technologist; Production manager; Associate director (director, vice presi-dent) for production; Job foremaster; The Chief of production laboratory (on production control); Head of department of quality control; Head of department of patent and inventive work; Production manager; Shift supervisor; Head of the technical department; Chief of the central factory laboratory; Shop manager (site); Shop manager of pilot production; Operator.
Positions of specialists: Engineer, Design engineer (designer), Lab technician, tool Engineer, quality Engineer, Engineer on picking of the equipment, scientific and technical information Engineer, patent and inventive work Engineer, productionEngineer, Production engineer (technologist), Professional consultant, Associate director (CEO, chief executive, president, chairman of the board, managing director) of the organization and other first heads (reviewer, adviser).
Positions of other employees (technical contractors): Codifier.
