Program Goal
Training of highly qualified specialists by deepening the theoretical and practical individual training of students in the field of chemical technology of organic substances and pedagogical activities, developing the ability for self-development and improving the skills of organizing and conducting scientific research
Program Uniqueness
The educational program 7M07102 HTOV provides a practice-oriented approach, combining fundamental engineering disciplines with modern laboratory competencies, as well as developing skills in working with modern laboratory equipment and industrial technologies. A distinctive and unique feature of the HTOV program is that KarIU is located in the same city as one of the largest mining and metallurgical enterprises in the Republic of Kazakhstan — JSC “Qarmet”. This creates favorable conditions for organizing industrial internships for HTOV master’s students. During these internships, students acquire the necessary professional competencies and practical skills, which contribute to their successful future professional activity and employment.

The professional field of activity for graduates of this educational program is the chemical technology of organic substances.

Qualification requirements and positions are determined in accordance with the “Qualification Directory of Posi-tions of Managers, Specialists and Other Employees”, approved by Order of the Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 553 dated December 30, 2020 and “Standard Qualification Character-istics of Positions of Teaching Workers and Equivalent Persons” persons”, approved by Order of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 13, 2009 No. 338:
