Preparation of masters ready for innovation in research and practical activities in the field of development, modification and use of modern materials in the context of global and integration processes in science, education and production
Program Uniqueness
EP 7M07106 “Materials Science and Nanotechnology of Materials” provides practice-oriented and research-based training, integrates materials science, nanotechnology, and engineering modeling, combines modern experimental characterization methods with digital analysis tools (phase modeling, computational simulations, advanced structure diagnostics), and develops competencies in the design and modification of innovative materials for industry and high-tech sectors.
Professional Activity Sphere
Graduates from the master's programme are engaged in industrial, technological, research and organisational work as leading specialists in engineering and management positions in industrial enterprises, as well as in teaching activities in higher and secondary educational establishments.
Qualifications and Positions
Qualifications and positions are determined in accordance with the "Qualification reference book of managers, specialists and other employees" approved by the Order of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 30, 2020 No. 553:
- Chief Engineer;
- Chief Technologist;
- Head of the workshop (section);
- Manufacturing engineer (technologist);
- Junior research assistant.
