The program includes courses in artificial intelligence, intelligent control systems, big data, cyber-physical systems, and industrial automation, which develop advanced digital and research competencies. The objects of professional activity of graduates include: automated control systems for technological processes in various industries; automated information and management systems of different purposes; computer-aided design systems for systems, objects, and devices; automated systems for technological preparation of production in various industrial sectors; automated systems for comprehensive testing of parts, products, units, and devices; higher and secondary professional educational institutions, as well as research and design organizations.
The subjects of professional activity of a Master’s graduate in the educational program 7M07110 “Automation and Control” include the development, creation, and operation of automated production systems, as well as methods of analysis, forecasting, and control of technological processes, technical systems, and high-tech research objects.
Qualifications and Positions
Holders of a Master of Engineering degree under the educational program 7M07110 “Automation and Control” may occupy leading senior and mid-level positions at industrial enterprises of various sectors, in industry-specific research and design organizations, and in plant laboratories, as well as carry out teaching activities in secondary vocational and higher education institutions in accordance with the qualification requirements of the Qualification Directory of Positions of Managers, Specialists, and Other Employees, approved by Order No. 553 of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 30, 2020.
