The educational program 7M07204 "Metallurgy of Ferrous and Non-Ferrous Metals" provides a practice-oriented approach, including laboratory and industrial research, mastering modern technologies for ore processing and metal production, and developing and implementing efficient technological solutions.

The sphere of professional activity of graduates of this educational program includes production-technological and organizational work in the metallurgical industry, as well as research activities aimed at studying, developing, and improving technologies for the extraction of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, their alloys, and raw material processing methods.
Qualifications and Positions
Qualification requirements and positions are determined in accordance with the "Qualification directory of positions of managers, specialists and other employees" approved by the Order of the Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 30, 2020 No. 553, on the basis of which the graduate has the right to work in higher and secondary technical educational institutions, scientific-research institutes, design organizations, national companies, business structures:
