Program Goal

Preparation of masters with deep scientific and pedagogical knowledge, skills in applying advanced building technologies, concepts, tools, design methods and capable of analyzing and improving the construction industry.

Program Uniqueness

The educational program 7M07301/ 7M07302 “Theory and Technology of Design of Buildings and Structures” is a research-oriented master’s program providing advanced training in structural analysis, modeling, and design of construction facilities. The program integrates fundamental engineering disciplines with modern digital technologies (BIM, numerical modeling, Finite Element Method) and is aimed at developing competencies in engineering analysis, design, and safety expertise of construction systems. The training is focused on scientific research activities, implementation of research projects, and preparation for further doctoral studies. The elective component enables master’s students to build an individual learning trajectory in accordance with their professional and research interests.

Professional Activity Sphere

The sphere of professional activity of graduates of this educational program is the design, construction, operation, monitoring and reconstruction of buildings and structures; engineering support and equipment of construction sites and urban areas; engineering surveys for construction; conducting scientific research; educational activity.

Qualifications and Positions

A graduate of the master's program in the educational program "7M07301 - Theory and Technology of Designing Buildings and Structures" in accordance with the "Qualification Guide for the Positions of Managers, Specialists and Other Employees", the Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 30, 2020 No. 553 is allowed to work in the following positions: - Deputy director for capital construction; - Deputy Director for Commercial Affairs; - Deputy Director for Economic Affairs; - Deputy director for production; - Chief Engineer.
