Program Goal
Training of competitive undergraduates who have theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the field of future professional activity, based on international and domestic standards in the field of industrial and environmental safety
Program Uniqueness
The educational program 7M11201 “Industrial and Environmental Safety” (scientific and pedagogical track) is aimed at training highly qualified specialists capable of carrying out research, professional, and teaching activities in the field of industrial and environmental safety. The program focuses on developing scientific thinking and research competencies based on national and international educational standards, ensuring the competitiveness of graduates at the regional and national levels.
A distinctive feature of the program is its research- and practice-oriented approach, implemented through close cooperation with regional industrial enterprises, including JSC “Qarmet”. Master’s students undertake research and industrial internships, conduct applied studies, and gain experience in solving real industrial problems. This contributes to their professional development, successful employment, and further continuation of studies at the doctoral level.

Qualifications and Positions
Qualification requirements and positions are determined in accordance with the "Qualification directory of positions of managers, specialists and other employees", approved by order of the Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 30, 2020 No. 553 :

- Safety and labor specialist in production,
- safety inspector
- specialist in the organizations of the Ministry of Emergency Situations,
- teacher in secondary technical and higher educational institutions,
- specialist of research and design and survey bureaus and institutes
