Program Goal

Training of doctors with deep system knowledge in the field of automation and control systems engineering, making a positive contribution to solving the problems and needs of production automation, able to apply technical knowledge for innovation and promotion of research projects.

The EP 8D07109 «Automation and Control» Educational program provides training for researchers and engineers of a new generation proficient in adaptive control and AI for the design and implementation of digital automation systems, with a focus on inclusive, accessible and sustainable engineering practice.

The sphere of professional activity is the field of automation, informatization and management in technological processes associated with the use of means and methods of information processing for management in all areas of production, as well as methodological and experimental-research work.

Qualifications and Positions

Qualifications and job positions are determined in accordance with the Qualification Directory of Positions of Managers, Specialists and Other Employees, approved by Order No. 553 of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 30, 2020: - Control foreman (site, workshop); - Head of the central factory laboratory; - Head of the Department of Automation and Mechanization of Production Processes; - Head of the Automated Production Management System Department (division or Information Technology center); - Engineer of control and measuring devices and automation; - Electronics Engineer (Electronics); - Engineer for automated production management systems (division or information technology center); - Engineer for automation and mechanization of production processes.
