Graduate Model

The Graduate Model is a set of requirements for learning outcomes, including knowledge, skills, competencies, and personal qualities that are formed during the mastery of an educational program and determine the graduate's readiness for professional activity. Karaganda Industrial University forms the graduate model based on: — The National Qualifications Framework of the Republic of Kazakhstan; — Professional standards; — Dublin Descriptors; — Requirements of employers and stakeholders; — Best international practices in higher and postgraduate education. The graduate model includes the following key competencies: Professional competencies — the ability to apply theoretical knowledge and practical skills to solve professional tasks in the relevant field of activity. Research competencies — the ability to conduct scientific research, analyze data, formulate conclusions, and present the results of scientific work. Communication competencies — proficiency in the state, Russian, and foreign languages at a level sufficient for professional and academic communication. Digital competencies — the ability to effectively use information and communication technologies in professional activities. Social and personal competencies — readiness for continuous professional development, teamwork, leadership, and social responsibility. The graduate model is developed taking into account the opinions of employers, graduates, and students and is regularly reviewed to ensure compliance with current labor market requirements.
