Reinstatement and Transfer

Reinstatement is carried out on a paid basis only.

Main conditions for reinstatement:

• reinstatement is carried out to the educational program in effect at the time of reinstatement;
• the year of study is determined taking into account:
  • previously completed disciplines;
  • academic difference;
• credit transfer of completed credits is carried out;
• an individual curriculum is formed.

Students expelled for non-fulfillment of financial obligations may be reinstated within 4 weeks after expulsion, provided the debt is settled.

Transfer to KarIU from Other Universities

When transferring to KarIU:

• an application is submitted;
• a transcript (or academic certificate) is provided;
• the academic difference is determined;
• credit transfer is carried out;
• the year of study is established;
• a contract is concluded for paid education.

Transfer from foreign universities is possible with the required documents and completion of the nostrification procedure.

Transfer from KarIU to Other Universities

To transfer to another university, the student:

• submits an application addressed to the Rector of KarIU;
• receives written consent;
• after a request from the receiving university, the personal file is sent to the place of continued study.

Internal University Transfer

The following types of transfer are available at KarIU:

• from one educational program to another;
• from one language of instruction to another.

Transfer from one year to the next is carried out automatically upon achieving the established transfer GPA score.
