Kazakhstan has built a unified system for training specialists in artificial intelligence. This was announced at a Government meeting by Minister of Science and Higher Education Sayasat Nurbek, Kazinform agency correspondent reports.
According to him, today, AI disciplines are included in the curricula for
all students, regardless of their field of study.
— In order to train personnel to realize this effect, we have formed the
necessary regulatory framework. Artificial intelligence disciplines have become
mandatory for all students, regardless of their specialty," the minister
said.
In addition, a unified interuniversity standard has been approved, and the
League for Academic Integrity has introduced guidelines on the use of AI in
education.
Changes have also been made to the rules for preparing dissertations and
awarding scientific degrees. Advanced training has been introduced for the
teaching staff, and the activities of universities are now evaluated according
to special KPIs in the field of AI application.
"Thus, a regulatory model has been formed that provides training for
personnel capable of creating applied solutions,— said Sayasat Nurbek.
