The Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development is consistently transforming its internal work processes through the use of artificial intelligence technologies. During the Year of Digitalization and AI, the ministry is introducing new tools first and foremost into its own operations in order to assess their capabilities in practice, build the necessary competencies, and then scale successful solutions across the public sector.
Today, ministry employees are
actively using the National Artificial Intelligence Platform, testing
Alem-Workspace — the unified digital workspace for civil servants, creating AI
agents to automate routine tasks, and undergoing training in vibe coding.
Representatives of subordinate organizations are also joining the program.
For ministry specialists, creating
personalized AI agents, automating work processes, and applying a data-driven
approach in information analysis are gradually becoming part of everyday work.
The training is organized by
National Information Technologies JSC jointly with the Digital Government
Support Center. The program combines theoretical preparation with practical
sessions aimed at applying AI tools in the day-to-day activities of government
agencies.
Employees are mastering technologies
for document processing, preparation of analytical materials, data handling,
and the creation of internal digital services. Special attention is being paid
to the data-driven approach — the ability to make decisions based on data and
analytics.
One of the key areas of training is
vibe coding. This approach makes it possible to create digital solutions using
text prompts to artificial intelligence without the need for deep programming
knowledge. Program participants are developing prototypes of websites,
chatbots, analytical dashboards, and internal services.
At the same time, an ecosystem of AI
assistants is being formed within the ministry. They can be used to prepare
analytical briefs, process large volumes of information, compile comparison
tables, and automate other routine operations.
“Our task is not simply to provide
employees with modern AI tools, but also to form a new culture of working with
data. We started with ourselves: ministry specialists are already applying the
capabilities of artificial intelligence in their daily activities. It is
important that technologies help reduce routine workload, improve the quality
of analytics, and support more informed decision-making,” noted Deputy Prime
Minister — Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development Zhaslan
Madiyev.
At the same time, a special
Leadership Program is being launched for mid-level managers to train leaders in
the field of AI. The final stage of the entire initiative will be the
ministry’s full transition to the target model of an AI-Driven Ministry, marked
by the launch of a whole ecosystem of smart assistants: AI assistants for
preparing responses to supervised assignments, compiling comparative tables of
legal acts, and drafting briefing points for leadership.
The training covers employees from a
wide range of areas: from administrative and analytical units to heads of
structural divisions and digital specialists. This approach makes it possible
to form a unified culture of effective and safe use of artificial intelligence
in the public sector.
The accumulated experience, tested
approaches, and effective solutions are planned to be scaled across the entire
state apparatus in the future.
