The Ministry of artificial intelligence and digital development of the Republic of Kazakhstan held an event to explain the draft new Constitution. The discussion was attended by deputies of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aidos Sarym, Ekaterina Smyshlyaeva and Snezhanna Imasheva, as well as an expert of the Institute of legislation and legal information-Indira Aubakirova and employees of organizations under the Ministry. In total, more than 1,500 people took part in the meeting, taking into account online participants from all regions of the country
The main goal of the meeting was to create an open
dialogue on constitutional reforms that will determine the future of the state
structure and the protection of citizens ' rights. In the era of rapid
development of technologies and artificial intelligence, the protection of
digital rights of Kazakhstanis is of particular importance. The participants
discussed how the new norms of the Constitution will ensure the inviolability
of privacy and the security of personal data in the context of mass digitalization
of public services, medicine and finance.
Deputy Prime Minister-Minister of artificial
intelligence and digital development Zhaslan Madiyev said in his speech:
"in the age of artificial intelligence, the protection of digital rights
of citizens is the main condition for confidence in the digital State. The
approval of these norms at the constitutional level will raise the protection
of the rights of Kazakhstanis to a qualitatively new level and will lead to the
creation of a safe and fair society," he stressed the strategic importance
of the changes.
The upcoming referendum is an important event aimed at modernizing the political system and strengthening national unity. The updated constitution will be a guarantee that technologies serve the human benefit and that the law reliably protects the interests of every citizen in the digital world.
