SDG 10. Reduced Inequalities

Reduce inequality within and among countries

The University contributes to reducing social and educational inequality by ensuring equal access to education for international students. Conditions are created for students from various countries, including the provision of accommodation in dormitories and comprehensive support at all stages of study. International students receive support in adaptation, documentation procedures, housing, and integration into the University's educational and socio-cultural environment.
Aiming to reduce internal and regional inequality, the University accepts students from densely populated, western, and newly formed regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan, including those studying under state educational grants. This practice expands access to higher education for youth from socially and territorially vulnerable regions and enhances their educational and social mobility.
Furthermore, the University actively participates in the state "Serpin" program, aimed at redistributing educational opportunities and supporting youth from regions with a demographic surplus. The implementation of this program contributes to leveling regional disparities, developing human capital, and strengthening social cohesion.
