OUR STUDENTS ARE TRAINED ON THE COURSERA PLATFORM

Thanks to the agreement of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, students of Karaganda Industrial University are trained on the Coursera platform. Coursera is a project in the field of mass online education, founded by Stanford University computer science professors Andrew Eun and Daphne Koller. Within its framework, there is a project to publish educational materials on the Internet in the form of a set of online courses. The project cooperates with universities that publish and conduct courses in various branches of knowledge in the system. Students take courses, communicate with fellow students, take tests and exams directly on the Coursera website, and the official mobile application for iPhone and Android is also distributed. Coursera has 87 million registered users and more than 4,300 courses and 430 specializations from 149 educational institutions. The “Professional Certification” that Coursera certifies ensures that a student receives an education with an industry-recognized accreditation that will improve the resume and increase the chances of successfully getting a high-paying job. Students of the TFP-21k-3 group Tulkibai Nazym, Zhumabai Dinara and Turekul Venus successfully completed the course of the USL University of California (USA) “Communication in the workplace in the XXI century” and received a certificate within the discipline philosophy. 3rd year students study at the University of Illinois (USA) courses “Entrepreneurship I: Laying the Foundation” within the discipline of Business Planning.3rd year student Akimov askhat completed the course and received a certificate. In total, 700 places have been allocated to КarIU.
