On September 24, a meeting of participants of the National Staff for the Construction of Nuclear Power Plants with students took place at the "Karaganda Industrial University". Representatives of the university, deputies of the regional and city maslikhats took part in the discussion. The speakers were Nurzhan Azhikov, Secretary of the Temirtau branch of the "AMANAT" party, and Shapak Unzila, a member of the Committee on Legislation and Judicial Reform of the Mazhilis of the Parliament. The experts noted the strategic importance of the upcoming referendum on the construction of nuclear power plants for the future of the country and called on students to show their civic position.
