КarIU took part in the Hackathon "Archive Hack: Smart Archive". On September 24-25, 2024, Satbayev University hosted the Hackathon "Archive Hack: Smart Archive", organized in cooperation with the Archive of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Yandex Qazaqstan. Student teams from universities and colleges competed, developing innovative solutions to improve access to archived data, their digitalization, protection and preservation. From our university, the Hackathon was attended by second-year students of the PI-23 group, Odintsovo Maxim, Vyacheslav and Stepanov Evgeny, as well as first-year student Orazymbetov Rysbek. The guys' project was dedicated to developing an application for the restoration of handwritten notes that have faded or become indistinct, as well as for further recognition of these records for archiving.
Participation in such events provides an opportunity to gain practical experience, develop technical and creative skills, improve teamwork, and establish useful professional contacts.
