On October 4, a solemn event dedicated to two pedagogical holidays at once: the Day of Higher Education Workers and the Teacher's Day took place in the assembly hall of Karaganda Industrial University. The honorary guests of the event were Akim of the city Galym Ashimov, deputy akim Samat Ziyashev, chairman of the city maslikhat Alexey Lomakin. Congratulations were received by the staff of CarIU, as well as teachers of Temirtau schools.
It is noteworthy that the Day of Higher Education Workers is celebrated in Kazakhstan for the first time. It was included in the list of professional holidays by the order of the Ministry of Labor dated June 11, 2024. The date of the holiday is October 1.
– This is a celebration not only of the teaching staff, but also of all employees working in the field of higher education. And it will help to enhance the image of our work," said the rector of KarIU Bakhyt Zhautikov.
In honor of the professional holiday, the best employees of КarIU were awarded departmental awards. They were awarded badges and certificates of honor from the Minister of Science and Higher Education.
Thus, the Chairman of the Board, Rector Bakhyt Zhautikov, was awarded the badge "Miner danky" of the second degree from the Ministry of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
For outstanding work in the field of science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the badge "Gylymdy damytuga sinirgen yenbegi ushin" from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan was awarded to: Member of the Board–Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Energy Galina Sivyakova; Member of the Board-Vice-Rector for Scientific Work and International Relations, Candidate of Physics- Mathematical Sciences Bolat Makhmutov; Professor of the Department of Technological Machines and Transport, Candidate of Technical Sciences Viktor Romanov: Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), Professor of the Department of Metal Processing by Pressure Evgeny Panin; Director of the Department of Science and Innovation, Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Vyacheslav Kunaev; Associate Professor of the Department of Chemical Technology and Ecology, Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Rymgul Jaslan.
For outstanding work in the field of science of the Republic of Kazakhstan with a badge
"Akhmet Baitursynuly" from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan was awarded to the head of the Department of Construction, Professor, Doctor of Technical Sciences Baurzhan Bazarov; senior lecturer of the Department of Metal Processing by pressure Aizhan Karipbaeva.
For a special contribution to the development of language policy and active participation in improving the field of language development, the badge "Ana tilin damytuga koskan ulesi ushin" from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan was awarded to: head of the University staff Sapar Khamitov; Dean of the Faculty of Continuing Education and Career Gulmira Shayakhmetova Gulmira.
For a significant contribution to the development of science and technology and the education of scientific personnel, "Gylym uzdigi" - Kurmet diplomas of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sayasat Nurbek was awarded to the head of the Department of Strategic Development and International Relations, Candidate of Technical Sciences Nikolay Nikolaevich Zobnin.
For significant contribution and honest service to higher education and science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the honorary diploma of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sayasat Nurbek was awarded to: Director of the Department for Educational Work and Youth Policy Nina Popova; Executive Secretary of the Admissions Committee Altynai Baymagambetova; Head of the Department of Economics and Business, Candidate of Economics Olga Silaeva; Director of the Department for Academic politics, Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Elena Kharchenko; Head of the Department of Energy, Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Saule Kamarova.
