The hackathon is being held with the support of the EOM at the Karaganda Industrial University from November 25 to 27. The main purpose of the event is to discuss the development of science in the Karaganda region in the light of problematic issues of the mining and metallurgical complex, the interaction of universities and research institutes with the business community, the training of scientific personnel in the country as part of the implementation of the Concept of Development of Higher Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2023-2029.
The event started with an exhibition of scientific projects being implemented in production: grant holders presented their successful projects that were implemented and implemented into production processes. Representatives of the scientific community, the manufacturing sector and managers gathered on one platform to jointly search and develop scientific and technological solutions for the largest metallurgical enterprise in Kazakhstan, «QARMET» JSC. The participants of the Hackathon were able to see how scientific developments turn into specific innovative products and technologies.
On the first day of the Hackathon, two round tables were held to discuss the current and future development challenges of «QARMET» JSC and the formulation of scientific tasks. The result of the Hackathon will be the presentation of prototypes and design solutions in the areas of the Hackathon.
