KARIU IN THE INTERNATIONAL EXCHANGE PROGRAM OF YOUNG ENGINEERS OF CHINA AND CENTRAL ASIA

From 19 to 22 August, as part of a series of events aimed at developing scientific, technical and cultural exchange between China and Central Asian countries, the Exchange Program of Young Engineers of China and Central Asia – 2025 was held. The event was organized in the city of Urumqi by the Chinese Society of Engineering (CSE) and was held under the motto: “Development of engineering based on innovation and joint creation of the future of the Silk Road”. The venue was the main exhibition center of Xinjiang.
The event was attended by the Rector of Karaganda Industrial University, Zhautikov Bakhyt Akhatovich, who represented Kazakhstan and gave a presentation on the creation of the HVDC Advanced Technology Center in Kazakhstan.
The program served as a significant international platform for the exchange of experience and advanced engineering solutions. During the meetings and discussions, promising areas for cooperation in energy, infrastructure, and sustainable technologies were identified. The participation of Karaganda Industrial University highlighted Kazakhstan's active role in regional scientific and technical initiatives and laid the foundation for new forms of cooperation between the engineering communities of Central Asian countries and China.
