On the eve of the Energy Saving Day, a large—scale event took place at the Rixos President Astana Hotel – the VII International Energy Saving Forum.
The forum was organized by JSC “Institute of Development of Electric Power Industry and Energy Conservation (Kazakhenergoexpertiza) with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
On November 7, the forum brought together representatives of government agencies, businesses, scientific institutions and universities to discuss topical issues of improving energy efficiency and sustainable energy development in Kazakhstan.
Saule Nurtazaevna Kamarova, Head of the Department of Energy Engineering, and Olga Nikolaevna Onishchenko, Senior lecturer of the Department, took part in the event from Karaganda Industrial University.
The participants noted the importance of the forum as an important platform for the exchange of experience, the presentation of innovative solutions and the promotion of energy-efficient technologies in Kazakhstan.
The Forum contributed to the development of professional ties between representatives of science and industry, as well as to the strengthening of cooperation in the field of sustainable energy.
