On November 10, 2025, a new vice—rector for Science and International Relations, PhD Kenzhaliev Olzhas Bagdauletovich, was introduced at Karaganda Industrial University. His candidacy was elected by the Board of Directors from three worthy candidates.
The vice-rector was introduced by the rector of the university, Bakhyt Akhatovich Zhautikov, who expressed confidence that Olzhas Bagdauletovich would be able to meet the expectations placed on him, would do everything possible to further develop the university and improve the quality of training highly qualified specialists for enterprises of the region and the country as a whole.
Kenzhaliev Olzhas Bagdauletovich was born on November 10, 1989. He is a graduate of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (KazNU), Kazakh-British Technical University (KBTU), and also studied at George Washington University (USA) and Satpayev KazNTU.
Olzhas Bagdauletovich associates his professional activity with the development of science, technology and innovation. He worked at the National Agency for Technological Development JSC, at the BRIMAN Training Center, and also until recently held the position of Head of the Science and Innovation Sector at the Kazakh-British Technical University JSC.
Wide academic and managerial experience, as well as knowledge of three languages (Russian, Kazakh, English) allow Olzhas Bagdauletovich to effectively implement the tasks set and contribute to further strengthening the scientific and international potential of Karaganda Industrial University.
The university’s management and staff wished Olzhas Bagdauletovich success in his new responsible post, fruitful work, inspiration and achievement of his goals.
